David Henderson serves as the Senior Medical Director of Integrated Palliative Care at Nova Scotia Health Authority since October 2018, focusing on enhancing access to person- and family-centered palliative care services. Additionally, David has been the Medical Director of the Palliative Care Service at Colchester East Hants Health Center since January 2004, overseeing care for hospital, clinic, long-term care, and home patients. David is currently the President of the Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physicians and actively participates in various provincial projects and working groups. Education includes a BSc and MD from Memorial University of Newfoundland and the University of New Brunswick, completed between 1984 and 1993.
