Rachel Corbett

Rachel Corbett has a strong background in podcasting and media. Rachel is currently working at NOVA Entertainment as the Head of Podcasts & Digital Content. In 2016, they founded PodSchool, an online course that teaches people how to start their own professional podcasts. Rachel also hosted a podcast called PodSchool, where they shared tips for new podcasters.

Rachel has also worked as a panellist and presenter for Network Ten's The Project and has appeared on other shows like Have You Been Paying Attention and Studio 10. In 2020, they worked as a podcast consultant and host for Think With Google APAC, creating and hosting a podcast for the company.

From 2015 to 2020, Rachel served as a guest lecturer at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, teaching courses in radio and podcasting. Rachel also held the position of Head of Podcasts at Mamamia, where they were responsible for growing the network and hosting several podcasts.

Rachel has hosted their own podcasts, including You've Gotta Start Somewhere, where they interviewed well-known media personalities about their career beginnings. Rachel has also worked as a creative coach, helping individuals improve their content and presenting skills. Additionally, they have contributed articles to news.com.au and worked as a panellist and commentator for Seven Network and Nine Entertainment Co.

Rachel Corbett completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management & Marketing from the University of Sydney in the years 1999-2003. Later, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney from 2011-2015.

Furthermore, they attended AWARD School | Communications Council in 2015, specializing in Advertising.

In terms of additional certifications, Rachel obtained a Certificate 3 in Fitness from the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2011. In 2006, they also achieved a PADI Divemaster certification from PADI.
