Usman Sheikh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and project management, currently serving as the Manufacturing Excellence Manager at NOVA Chemicals since March 2013, where focus areas include Operational Reliability Management Systems and improvements in reliability and maintenance. Prior roles at NOVA include Project Controls and Venture Claims Manager, where Usman successfully controlled costs on a $3B project, and Project Services & Engineering Systems Leader, achieving recognition for CAPEX delivery. Before NOVA, Usman held positions at ArcelorMittal Dofasco, AkzoNobel, ICI, and Shell, gaining expertise in technology improvement, planning and development, maintenance management, and engineering. Usman holds dual Master's degrees in Management Sciences and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute.
