George Lamprou has extensive work experience in finance and consulting. George is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Nova since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of CFO at WIND Hellas from 2021 to 2023, and also worked as the Financial Planning and Control Director at the same company from 2021 to 2022. Before joining WIND Hellas, George worked at Vodafone as the Head of Cost Transformation and OpEx Finance from 2018 to 2021. George was responsible for financial control for £1.5bn of Opex and served as a business partner to several C-suite members. George also had experience working at BT as a Senior Manager in the Group Cost Transformation team from 2016 to 2018, and at PwC as a Management Consultant in the Strategy and Operations Advisory practice from 2012 to 2015. George started their career with various operational roles in 2009 and interned as a Market Risk Intern at J.P. Morgan in 2008.
George Lamprou attended Athens College from 1998 to 2005, where they completed their International Baccalaureate. George then pursued Engineering Science at the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2009, earning their MEng degree.
