Roger's rigorous analysis and curious mind deliver valuable results for clients. He brings deep expertise in law reform, economic policy, financial services and consumer behavior. He is particularly interested in problems at the nexus of economics and law, having advised on the generational reshaping of the financial services industry that occurred after the Hayne Royal Commission. During his time at the Australian Securities and Investment Commissions (ASIC) he contributed to systemic reviews of the complaints handling systems at five of Australia's largest financial institutions and helped to implement a major recurrent data project. He has also applied behavioral economics interventions to improve consumer outcomes in the financial services industry through more effective regulation and process design.
