Kurt Waltenbaugh is an experienced consultant, mentor, and strategic advisor currently serving as Managing Advisor at Kestrel Rising since January 2023. Previously, Kurt held the position of Advisor at Unite Us from August 2021 to October 2023. As the Founder and CEO of Carrot Health, Kurt led the company from its inception until its acquisition by Unite Us in August 2021. Kurt's extensive background includes serving as Senior Director of Product Strategy at Optum, Inc., and roles in various capacities at Integral7, Inc., Wagpaw, Inc., and Retek Information Systems. Additionally, Kurt has extensive educational credentials with an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, a BA from Carleton College in Political Science and Technology & Policy Studies, and has completed executive education in Mergers & Acquisitions.
