Tinashe Chingarande, M.J., is a politics reporter currently working at NOTUS, where responsibilities include covering the Michigan congressional delegation and national Democratic politics, as part of the inaugural fellowship with the Allbritton Journalism Institute. Previous experience includes serving as a reporter for the Washington Blade and holding various reporting roles at District Fray Magazine and The Real News Network. Additional positions include assistant social media editor and reporter with Capital News Service, and reporting roles with The AFRO-American Newspapers and The Black Explosion Newspaper. Tinashe Chingarande holds a Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Columbia College.
