Haley Byrd Wilt is a seasoned journalist specializing in congressional coverage. At NOTUS since December 2023, Haley serves as a reporter focusing on Congress. Previously, as an associate editor at The Dispatch from November 2020 to November 2023, Haley managed coverage of Congress through a twice-weekly newsletter titled Uphill. Prior experience includes working as a reporter for CNN, where coverage centered on the House of Representatives from January 2019 to November 2020, and reporting on Congress at The Weekly Standard from January to December 2018. Haley began the media career as a congressional reporter and editorial intern at IJR - Independent Journal Review from February to December 2017.
