Sue Corbin is an accomplished educator and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and K-12 settings. Currently serving as Director of Community Relations and Field Placements and as a Full Professor at Notre Dame College since August 2014, Sue has held multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Division of Professional Education. In addition, Sue contributes to the International Literacy Association as a Board Member and has a lengthy history in the Shaker Heights City School District, where responsibilities included chairing the Reading Department and teaching English and reading. With previous faculty positions at Cleveland State University and Malone University, Sue's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and a focus on literacy instruction and children's literature. Sue's professional affiliations include significant roles within the International Reading Association, underscoring a commitment to literature and education.
