Eric Matthews

Assistant Professor, Political Science at Notre Dame College

Eric Matthews is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Notre Dame College. Eric previously served as the Director of the Regula Center for Public Service and Assistant Professor at the University of Mount Union from August 2006 to June 2011.

Matthews has been widely published in several academic journals on topics related to public policy, administration, and American politics. Eric's research interests include public management, nonprofit organizations, and intergovernmental relations.

Eric Matthews has a PhD in Political Science/Public Policy from Kent State University, a Masters in Education from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida.

Eric Matthews reports to J. Michael Pressimone, College President. Eric Matthews works with Natalie Strouse - Associate Professor, Farrah McClintock - Clinical Instructor, and David Orosz - Interim Provost & Dean, Faculty, Marie Goetz Geier Distinguished Professor of STEM & Professor, Biochemistry Academic Affairs.
