David Martins Gonçalves has a diverse work experience. In 2000, they worked as a World Bank & Cooperation Funds Consultant at KOST International until 2004. David then founded Pears and Bragston in 2005. In 2010, they co-founded Adlead Portugal. Currently, they are the Co-founder CTO of notify| keep in touch, a company focused on improving customer experience by increasing visibility and generating revenue for B2C companies.
David Martins Gonçalves has a diverse education history. David obtained a Licenciate degree in International Relations and Affairs from FEUC - Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra, graduating in 1999. David then pursued further studies and earned a Master's degree in Sciences politiques et gouvernement from Fundação para a Ciencia e Tecnologia Lisboa & Paris 8 in 2000, followed by a Master's degree in International Business from Ecole Supérieure de Management en Alternance (ESM-A) in 2001.
In terms of executive education, David completed the BE Program in Behavioral Economics at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2014. David also participated in the Executive Degree Program in Business Dynamics at MIT Sloan School of Management from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore, they attended several certification programs, including the Extension Class in Big Data and Analytics & CS50 at Harvard University in 2012-2013, the Applied Machine Learning program at Columbia Engineering from 2018-2019, and the Mastering innovation and Design thinking program at MIT Professional Education in 2019.
David's continuous pursuit of knowledge is evident through their additional certifications. David obtained a Certificate of Completion in Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp from Data Science Dojo in 2018, and a certificate in Data Science from HarvardX through edX in 2018. David also acquired certifications in Customer Experience Strategy from Columbia Business School Executive Education in 2022, Blue Ocean Innovation Strategy from INSEAD in 2019, and Analyse de données et Machine Learning avec Spark from Xebia Training FR in 2016. Furthermore, they received the MITx Certificate for Tackling the Challenges of Big Data from edX in 2015.
