Paul DeMuro is an accomplished legal and data science professional with a diverse background in healthcare, informatics, and education. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Nossaman LLP and a Data Science/Data Analytics Advisor at Protoqual, Paul focuses on enhancing patient experiences through evidence-based technology solutions. Previous roles include Chief Legal Officer at Royal Palm Companies, where Paul oversaw a significant joint venture for a health and wellness center, and Board Member at MGMA. Paul has also held academic positions, including Voluntary Associate Professor at the University of Miami and Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University, while contributing to the field as a mentor in digital health startups. Paul earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, along with an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis.
