Mr. Rahman is a management consultant, business strategist, financial analyst, and author. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degrees in economics, both from the University of Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, fellow of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria and member of Nigeria Economic Society and member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He has also attended several strategy courses both in Nigeria and overseas.
He was at different times Head, Capital Market, Business Times Newspaper (in the Daily Times Group); Head, Research, Financial Standard Newspaper; Head, Research & Strategy, F & C Securities Limited (now FCSL Asset Management) and Co-ordinator, Market Research & Intelligence in the Strategy Group, Fidelity Bank Plc. He has spearheaded and participated in several strategic and transformation agenda, including the Fidelity Bank SME initiative.
He is the author of the book, “Circus of the Absurd”, which has enjoyed critical reviews in the media. He is a regular contributor on the economy, public policy and corporate/organisational strategies across different media spectra and platforms.
