Rachael McCutcheon is a seasoned lighting designer with extensive experience in the cruise line and theatrical industries. Currently serving as the Resident Lighting Designer for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since February 2012, Rachael oversees the design, engineering, and project management of entertainment lighting across various ships, including significant upgrades on the Norwegian Getaway and design work for vessels like the Norwegian Prima and Aqua. Rachael has also been an Associate Lighting Designer for Cameron Mackintosh Ltd., notably on 'Les Miserables' in London. Freelance work includes lighting design for productions such as 'Matilda' and technical roles on major cruise ships like RCCL's 'Harmony of the Seas' and MSC's 'Meraviglia.' Rachael holds qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aberdeen Technical College and has a foundation in Physics from Keith Grammar School.
