J.D. Freda is an experienced Digital Media Specialist currently working at Norwalk Public Schools since February 2023. Previously, J.D. served as an Editor at Hearst Connecticut Media Group from January 2021 to February 2023 and held the position of General Assignment Reporter at Herald Community Newspapers from January 2017 to January 2021, also contributing as a Freelance Sports Reporter. Additional experience includes a Marketing Communications Internship at Patient AirLift Services from May to August 2019, focusing on social outreach and marketing. J.D. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Hofstra University (2017-2019) and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Nassau Community College (2015-2017).
