Dr. Alexandra Estrella currently serves as the Superintendent of Norwalk Public Schools, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Estrella spent two decades at the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities included serving as Community School Superintendent, Principal, and Teacher. Dr. Estrella's education includes a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Russell Sage College, a Master of Science in Science Teacher Education from Pace University-New York, and additional degrees in Educational Leadership and in Chemistry and Biology from Baruch College and Marymount College.
