Kathryn Glover is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher at Northwood Academy Charter School since August 2022, where a project-based, data-driven reading curriculum was developed alongside modifications to support students with individual education plans. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Language Teacher for the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education from July 2016 to July 2022, where Kathryn researched and implemented an English language curriculum related to Japanese societal issues and guided students through university admissions processes. Additional roles encompass similar responsibilities with the Shizuoka Board of Education and various academic support positions at Sarah Lawrence College, where Kathryn also served as Treasurer of the Undergraduate Student Senate. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and ongoing master’s studies at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
