John R. Haramut, P.G. is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in environmental projects and industrial business pursuits. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at NorthWind, Inc. since June 2016, John supports initiatives for the Department of Energy and Department of Defense. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Field Geologist at HDR Inc., contributing to groundwater assessments for Duke Energy's coal ash basins, and a 25-year tenure as Program Director at AECOM, an esteemed engineering firm. Early career experience encompasses geological analysis of sediment core samples at Sargent Consulting. John holds a Master's Degree in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Mathematics from the University of South Carolina.
