Victoria Getis currently serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies at Northwestern University, a position held since September 2013, where responsibilities include leading a team of specialists in educational technologies and successfully transitioning the university from Blackboard to Canvas. Prior experience includes serving as Director of the Digital Union at Ohio State University from March 2006 to March 2013, and as Special Projects Manager at The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2006. Additional experience includes working as a Historical Consultant on the TURNS project at the University of Massachusetts from 2000 to 2002. Victoria Getis earned a Ph.D. in History from the University of Michigan and an A.B. in History from Oberlin College.
