Isabel Machlab is currently a Political Research Assistant for Professor Iza Ding at Northwestern University - Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and a Staff Writer for the Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal, where an article analyzing period tracking and surveillance in reproductive legislation is being written. Isabel serves as a Farrell Fellow, assisting Professor Marion-Suiseeya in research projects focused on global environmental governance, gender, and identity. Previous experience includes an internship at Jenner & Block and a position as a Research Assistant under Dr. Bruce Lambert at Northwestern University School of Communication, where communications in medicine were researched in collaboration with the FDA. Isabel's career began at MAGGIE'S FARM WOOD-FIRED PIZZA, LLC, as a hostess. Currently, Isabel studies at Northwestern University, with an expected graduation in 2025.
