Leslie Tomlinson, Ed.D., serves as the Assistant Dean of Workforce Development, Institutional Effectiveness, and Advancement at Northwest-Shoals Community College since May 2004, with responsibilities including the development of strategic partnerships, oversight of career technical departments, and management of grant development processes. Previously, roles included Executive Director of Grants Development and Transfer Advisor within Student Support Services, focusing on advising and supporting first-generation, limited-income students. Leslie's educational background includes a Doctor of Education from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Master's degree from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from The University of Alabama. Prior experiences include positions as Admissions Counselor at both the University of North Alabama and the University of Alabama.
