Renae I. is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Program Administrator and Professional Development Specialist at Northwest Regional Education Service District since July 2017, where Renae provides professional learning and coaching focused on Trauma-Informed Care, Restorative Practices, and Positive School Culture and Climate. Prior to this role, Renae worked as a Beginning Teacher Mentor for Hillsboro School District from August 2014 to June 2017, supporting new teachers across various grade levels and content areas. Renae's educational background includes a Post-Graduate Program for Initial Administrator License from Portland State University, a Master’s of Science in Education with a focus on Literacy from Black Hills State University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Education specializing in Elementary and Special Education from Black Hills State University. Renae's teaching experience spans from January 2001 to June 2014, including roles as a General and Special Education Teacher, as well as a Teacher on Special Assignment as Dean of Students and Assistant Athletic Director.
