Tom O'Brien has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tom started their career at Dean Foods Company as a Director of HR & Benefits and later moved on to NutraSweet, where they served as Director of Sales. Tom then joined Merrill Lynch Howard Johnson as Managing Director, leading business development for their benefits outsourcing services. Tom then worked at Nuance Communications as a Director of Embedded Software, managing sales efforts in the embedded speech technology space. After this, they worked at Workscape as a Director of Sales, overseeing the sales effort for HR technology software and services. Tom then joined RealLife HR as Senior Vice President of Sales, responsible for team selling HR and benefits outsourcing/automation. Tom later became the Chief Marketing Officer at MotiveQuest LLC and Senior Vice President at NM Incite - Nielsen McKinsey JV, where they were responsible for achieving revenue targets in the Americas region. Currently, Tom holds the position of Vice President at NWPS.

Tom O'Brien obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Purdue University between 1976 and 1980. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 1982 to 1984, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
