Megan Hitchens possesses extensive experience in education and public programming, currently serving as an Educator at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture since June 2015, where curriculum-based programs for grades K-8 are developed in alignment with educational standards. Prior roles include impactful internships with the National Park Service and the Student Conservation Association, where award-winning programs were facilitated, and digital media documentation was produced. Megan also contributed to community service through AmeriCorps and gained customer service skills as a Sales Specialist at REI. An earlier background includes a marketing internship focused on interactive web design and teaching responsibilities at the Avery Microcomputer Lab, where courses in digital publishing were designed and delivered. Megan holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Digital Technology & Culture from Washington State University, earned in 2013.
