Medical Director, Infection Prevention And Antimicrobial Stewardship at Northwest Healthcare Tucson

Logan Felix has a diverse work experience in the field of infectious diseases. Logan started their career in 2010 as an Internal Medicine Resident at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai Roosevelt, where they also served as an Infectious Disease Fellow. During this time, they provided care to HIV-positive patients and supervised and taught medical students and residents.

In 2015, Logan joined ID Consultants, Inc. as an Associate Infectious Diseases Attending. Logan worked in a busy practice at multiple community hospitals and served as the Chief of the Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Control Committee at Wellington Regional Medical Center.

In 2018, Logan became a Partner at Infectious Disease Consultants, PLLC. Logan rounded at several community hospitals and medical facilities, providing infectious disease consultation services.

In 2021, Logan took on multiple roles at BANNER - UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER PHOENIX, including Faculty Physician at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Infectious Diseases Attending as a Locum Tenens/Per Diem.

In the same year, they also started as the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship at Northwest Healthcare Tucson.

In 2023, Logan will become the Section Chief of Infectious Disease at Northwest Medical Center Houghton and Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita.

Throughout their career, Logan has demonstrated expertise in infectious diseases, teaching, and leadership roles.

Logan Felix obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the same university, completing it from 2003 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Logan Felix obtained an Internal Medicine certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2013. Logan also acquired a Florida Medical License from the Florida Board of Medicine in January 2015. Subsequently, they obtained an Infectious Disease certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2015 as well. Moving forward, Logan Felix secured a Michigan Medical License from the Michigan Board of Medicine in March 2019, followed by an Illinois Medical License from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in February 2020. Furthermore, they received an Arizona Medical License from the Arizona Medical Board, although the exact date of acquisition is unavailable.
