Dana Palermo, PE, is an experienced professional in environmental resource permitting and engineering. Currently serving as the Chief of the Bureau of Environmental Resource Permitting at Northwest Florida Water Management District since October 2007, Dana oversees the Environmental Resource Permitting Program, ensuring compliance with statewide standards for surface water management and protection of wetlands. In addition to this role, Dana has been self-employed as a professional photographer since October 2015, specializing in various photography styles including weddings and portraits. Previous work experience includes positions as a Civil Engineer at PBS&J, where Dana gained experience in civil site designs, and as a Geotechnical Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
