Jim Ekrut is a Professional Learning Specialist at NCCE (Northwest Council for Computer Education) since May 2020. Prior to this role, Jim served as an Educational Technology Specialist for Fort Worth ISD from August 2013 to June 2019, where responsibilities included training technology for nine elementary and middle school campuses. From August 2003 to June 2019, Jim worked as a Digital Literacy Coach, achieving recognition as a Google for Education Certified Trainer in 2019 and a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert from 2016 to 2020. Jim's educational background includes graduate hours completed for Principal Certification at The University of Texas at Arlington, a Master’s Degree in Music Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Teacher Education from Baylor University.
