Rodney Battles

Rodney Battles is the Executive Director at NORTHWEST ALABAMA MENTAL HEALTH CENTER. Rodney was previously the President at The AIM Center from January 2013 to April 2019. At The AIM Center, Rodney was responsible for creating financial sustainability, successful fundraising, and award-winning clinical programs through visionary leadership for a mission-focused and value-driven nonprofit organization. Under Rodney's leadership, the organization made a difference for the individuals served and impacted the community. Some of Rodney's measurable metrics of success include successfully negotiating and settling a $2.5 million dollar lawsuit for $800,000, creative and ethical programming designs that resulted in billable services to recover the loss of 30% revenue, being awarded Tennessee IPS Supported Employment Champion for highest employment outcomes of 68%, and creating a strength-based operational philosophy/interview process that resulted in staff turnover reductions to 18%.
