Ryan Dumkrieger, Ed. S., is the Director of the North Region at Northwest Area Education Agency, a position held since July 2023, focusing on supporting K-12 schools and students with disabilities in Northwest Iowa. Additionally, Ryan serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern College since March 2023. Previously, Ryan accumulated extensive experience in educational leadership, including roles as Principal and Assistant Principal within the Sioux City Community School District from July 2010 to July 2023, achieving significant reductions in discipline infractions through Positive Behavior Supports. Earlier roles include serving as Secondary Principal at Whiting Community School and Business Education Teacher at Lawton-Bronson Community School District. Ryan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College, an Ed.S. in Education Leadership from Drake University, and multiple degrees in Business Administration and Education from Morningside University and Drake University.
