Maria Romeo is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in revenue cycle operations and patient access services. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations for Northwell Health since September 2018, Maria leads multiple acute care facilities in the NY Metro Area, focusing on operational excellence in patient registration and customer satisfaction. Previous roles include AVP of Patient Access Services at Optum360-Northwell Health and Director of Patient Financial Services at Staten Island University Hospital, where Maria managed teams and oversaw financial counseling and patient access solutions. Educationally, Maria holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from St. Joseph's University and a BA in Psychology and Women's Studies from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
