Colleen McCabe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, emergency management, and legal support. Currently serving as the Health, Safety and Emergency Risk Manager for Northumberland County since April 2018, Colleen is responsible for overseeing health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Previous roles include Emergency Planning Coordinator and Community Outreach Caseworker, demonstrating a strong capability in emergency response planning, case management, and community program development. Colleen has also held positions in the legal field as a Litigation Law Clerk and Legal Support Worker. A dedicated educator, Colleen co-owns North Shore Reaching Inc. Sailing School, offering American Sailing Association courses. Colleen's educational background includes a BSc in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto, several certificates in Occupational Health and Safety, Law, and Litigation Law Clerk studies, as well as an Advanced Care Paramedic Certificate.
