Sharmila B. has worked in the software development engineering field since 2008. Sharmila began their career at Zeta Associates where they served as a Senior Software Development Engineer. During their time there, they evaluated and implemented algorithms in C++, evaluated algorithm performance in Matlab, and coordinated with system developers to integrate and test algorithms into an operational system across multiple sites using C++ and SQL. In 2019, they joined Karsun Solutions, LLC as a UI Developer. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Development Engineer at Northstrat Incorporated since 2020.

Sharmila B. holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development Program from The George Washington University - College of Professional Studies. Sharmila has also obtained additional certifications from LinkedIn, including CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) Cert Prep: The Basics (2021), Kafka Essential Training (2021), Java: Testing with JUnit (2021), Angular Essential Training (2020), React.js Essential Training (2020), and Learning Spring with Spring Boot (2020).
