Bryan Byrnes is a Senior Principal Guidance Navigation Control Engineer at Northrop Grumman since March 2019, where responsibilities include leading the Attitude Control Subsystem for several commercial GEO spacecraft. Prior to this role, Byrnes served as a Principal Software Engineer and Software Engineer, focusing on full stack software development for satellite ground control systems. Previous experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer II at AeroVironment, a Prototype Engineer at Safety Spot, and a Prototype Lab Engineer at LACI La Kretz Innovation Campus. Additionally, Byrnes has held leadership roles in propulsion and mechanisms teams for the Hyperloop and USC Aero Design Team, respectively, and has experience as an Agency Sales Trader at UBS and a math tutor. Education includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Physics/Math from Virginia Tech.
