Joe Krause is an experienced professional in crisis intervention and education with a career spanning several roles. Currently serving as a CPI Instructor and Crisis Team Director at Northland Counseling Center, Joe Krause specializes in non-violent crisis intervention and leads a 24/7 crisis assessment program for Koochiching County. Joe also has a background in public service, having served as a City Council Member for the City of International Falls from 2018 to 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Special Education Teacher at ISD 361. Joe Krause holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, both from Bemidji State University, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Rainy River Community College.
