Jessica Richards has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Jessica started their career as a Teller at First Community Bank - Michigan in 2004 and later joined Awakon Federal Credit Union in 2006, where they held various roles such as Teller, General Office Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Plastics/Compliance Specialist, and Member Experience Coordinator. Jessica then became the Vice President of Lending at Awakon Federal Credit Union in September 2018, a position they held until July 2022. Jessica is currently the Vice President of Lending at Northland Area Federal Credit Union, starting in August 2022.

Jessica Richards has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Lake Superior State University. Jessica attended Onaway High School from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Jessica is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from Northwood University, with an expected completion date between 2022 and 2024. Additionally, they have certifications as a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) from the Credit Union National Association.
