Karen Turner has extensive experience in healthcare management and nursing, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Reimbursement at Northfield Retirement Community since January 1995. Previously, Karen held various roles at Northfield, including Director of Nursing and RN, RAC-CT, MDS Coordinator, and Nurse Manager for a 42-bed skilled nursing facility, where responsibilities included the RAI process, Medicare decisions, and staff education. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Social Services and LPN at Westchester Care Center, managing admissions/discharges and Medicare decisions for a 111-bed skilled nursing facility. Additionally, a background as a Health Services Representative involved marketing services to medical professionals. Educational qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing from South Central College and practical nursing training from Alexandria Technical and Community College.
