Tyler Schimmel serves as a Nursing Manager at Northfield Hospital + Clinics, providing leadership and support for a medical/surgical/critical care unit since August 2022. Prior experience includes working as an ICU Registered Nurse at Fairview Health Services and UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's, where critical care patient management, interprofessional communication, and patient education were key responsibilities. Tyler's career began with roles in customer service and management at Burger King Corporation and AT&T, along with EMT duties at Vermillion Clay County EMS. Tyler holds an Associate's degree and Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of South Dakota, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution, with ongoing studies in Nursing.
