Karin Lee is a Senior Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at Northern Trust Corporation, specializing in lending issues within the Wealth Management Banking practice, particularly for global family offices and private equity lending. Prior to this role, Karin served as Vice President and Legal Counsel at Mayer Brown, focusing on secured and unsecured banking and finance transactions. Previous experience includes working as a Corporate Associate at JONES DAY®, where involvement encompassed banking and finance, M&A, private equity, and capital markets. Additional positions include a secondee at BMO Harris Bank, Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern University Law Review, and various legal roles with the U.S. EPA and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Karin holds a degree in Political Science and International Studies from Yale University and is a graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
