Unni Karumathil is an experienced professional in the field of geoscience and data management, currently serving as Petroleum Data Manager for the Northern Territory Government since August 2017. With previous roles as a consultant and data manager, including positions at RAK GAS International and IHS, Unni has developed expertise in interpreting and mapping seismic data using advanced software such as IHS Kingdom and MESA. Unni's background includes significant experience in managing geological and geophysical databases, providing technical support for seismic software users, and overseeing water resource development projects. Unni holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Coastal Zone Management and has completed various specialized courses in GIS, remote sensing, and hydrology, contributing to a robust educational foundation in geology and environmental sciences.
