Ashwath Ravikumar is an experienced mining engineer with a diverse background in various roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as Technical Services Superintendent and Alternate Open Pit Manager at Northern Star Resources Limited since October 2020, Ashwath has previously held positions such as Drill and Blast Engineer at Rio Tinto and Senior Mining Engineer at Atlas Iron Limited. Other notable positions include Tech Services Engineer at Orica and Production Engineer at BGC Contracting. Ashwath began the professional career as a Graduate Mining Engineer at BGC Contracting after obtaining a Master of Engineering Science in Mining Engineering from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore.
