Andrea Beckett is a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Northern Health - BC, where since April 2010, responsibilities have included leading the integration of information technologies and enhancing evidence-based clinical practices through Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Andrea has also served as a Patient Care Coordinator, focusing on patient-centered care during admissions, discharges, and transfers at the University Hospital of Northern BC, demonstrating nursing leadership and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience includes working as a Registered Nurse in the Provincial Burns, Trauma, and Critical Care Unit at Vancouver Coastal Health from February 2005 to March 2011, providing care to critically ill clients in accordance with professional standards. Education includes ongoing studies at the University of Northern British Columbia and a degree in Critical and Cardiac Care from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
