Amy Boyd has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Amy began their career in 1992 as a Project Manager and Purchasing Manager at Vision Network Systems, Inc. Amy then worked as an Executive Assistant at Atthowe Fine Art Services from 1993 to 1995. Amy joined The Society of California Pioneers in 1994 as a Program Director, where they managed exhibitions, installations, graphics, and communications. Amy also served as the editor and designer of The Pioneer, a California history journal. Amy worked as a Freelance Exhibit Producer and Principal Owner from 2004 to 2008, producing exhibits on a freelance basis. Amy then moved on to Global Academics, where they worked as a Curriculum Writer from 2008 to 2012. Currently, Amy is with Northern California Public Media, where they started as a Media Production Manager in 2012 and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2020.
Amy Boyd attended Hamilton College from 1979 to 1983, where they studied Fine Arts and Public Policy. Amy then went on to enroll at the California College of the Arts to pursue Industrial Design.
