Amy Baumgartner has extensive work experience in human resources and operations. Amy started their career as a Human Resource Recruiter at Premium Standard Farms in 1997 and then moved on to Kraft Foods Group in 1999, where they worked as a Human Resource Manager for over 14 years. In 2013, Amy joined Northeast Missouri Health Council as the Director of Human Resources. Later, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer in February 2016.

Amy Baumgartner obtained their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies from Indian Hills Community College, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Following this, they attended Northwest Missouri State University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Communication, General from 1995 to 1997.
