Alexander Swain is a Junior Software Engineer and Mentor at Northcoders, where work began in November 2021. Prior to this role, Alexander served in the Royal Navy from January 2014 to February 2021 as a Mine Warfare Specialist, holding positions as Leading Hand and Able Rate, with responsibilities that included training and supervising a team of twelve and piloting unmanned underwater vehicle systems for mine identification and disposal. Alexander is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The Open University, with studies planned from April 2024 to September 2030, following earlier educational experiences at Northcoders and St. Boniface.
