Marieli Urquiza is a dedicated Spanish teacher at Northbrook School District 28 since August 2022, bringing a strong background in education from various teaching and leadership roles. Marieli's experience includes serving as a junior high teacher at Outreach Community Ministries, a world language teacher candidate at Marquardt Middle School, and engaging in multiple positions at Elmhurst College, including student ambassador and World Languages Department student fellow. Marieli has held leadership roles such as Vice President of Member Development for Kappa Kappa Gamma and has contributed to academic mentoring through Project C.A.R.E. Marieli was also recognized as a Golden Apple Scholar, highlighting commitment to effective teaching. Marieli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Elmhurst University.
