Khotjo Makgoga is a Mining Engineering Intern at Northam Platinum since April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Junior Foreman at De Groote Boom from September 2022 to April 2023, and completing Student Vacation Work at Northam Platinum in December 2021 to February 2022. Khotjo was also involved with the Students in Mining Engineering Society at Wits as a Choir Liaison Officer from January 2020 to December 2021. Additional experience includes student vacation work at De Groote Boom Chrome Mine in July 2021 to August 2021 and serving as a Teacher Assistant at Kgoloko Secondary School in December 2020 to January 2021. Early career experience includes student vacation work at Aveng Duraset from December 2017 to February 2018. Khotjo holds a BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed matric at Rebone Secondary School in 2015.
