Jasmine Balley has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as a Learning Experience Designer at North York Community House since June 2023. Jasmine has been a teacher with the York Region District School Board since August 2018 and previously taught at Keewaytinook Internet High School from August 2017 to August 2018, where responsibilities included mentoring students in online courses within the North Spirit Lake First Nation community. Earlier positions include serving as an Undergraduate Program Assistant at the Lassonde School of Engineering and providing accreditation support in the Mechanical Engineering department at York University from August 2015 to June 2017. Jasmine's career began as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Canadian Tire, focusing on customer service and merchandise promotion from January 2012 to May 2015. Jasmine holds a Master of Education in Social Justice Education from the University of Toronto and two degrees from York University: a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society.
