Katharine Burton is a highly experienced medical professional with a diverse background in clinical practice and research. Currently serving as a Trial Investigator at Wrexham Clinical Research Centre since November 2020 and as a GP Partner at Gwrych Medical Centre since June 2018, Katharine also works as a Forensic Medical Examiner for North Wales Police. Prior roles include General Practitioner at Gwyrch Medical Centre, Doctor GP Registrar at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Core Surgical Trainee at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust, and Foundation Doctor at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Educational qualifications include MRCGP from the Royal College of General Practitioners, MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, and an MBChB from The University of Manchester, complemented by a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford.
