Phoebe Mejia has accumulated extensive experience in various roles within educational and community settings. Currently serving as an Event Host and Childwatch Employee at North Suburban YMCA since June 2015, Phoebe excels in organizing family events and overseeing children while parents engage in activities. Since August 2019, Phoebe has also worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Northbrook Junior High School, supporting 7th graders in both Special and General Education classes. Additionally, Phoebe completed a Social Work internship in a Legislative Office during the fall of 2018, assisting in communication tasks within the 6th senate district. Phoebe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, earned in 2018.
