Jacob Hunter is an experienced educator specializing in agricultural education. Currently serving as the Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor at North Scott Community School since July 2016, Jacob leads Scott County's only agriculture program and engages local metro students in regional agriculture initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as the Director of Iowa Education Programs and Director of Social Media at The World Food Prize Foundation, focusing on youth engagement in food security, and as an Animal Science Instructor at Des Moines Public Schools, where Jacob taught dual credit courses. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in School Leadership from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Life Sciences Education from Iowa State University.
